Rob and I flew back east to visit Rob’s family. It was so fun! I was able to get to know them much better. We spent ten days visiting and seeing sights. Some of the places we saw included: Washington DC, the Smithsonian; Richmond, VA; Monticello, Williamsburg, colonial plantations, Baltimore and the Inner Harbor and the Aquarium. The whole trip was amazing! I learned so much. I had no idea Virginia had so much Civil War history as well as Revolutionary War history.
Rob at the World War ll Memorial. The Philippines is where he served his mission.
(Above) Rob and I at the White House.
(Below) Arlington Cemetery visiting the grave of Rob’s great grandfather. Robs great grandfather was one of the explorers to first map out Greenland; as well as served in the US Air Force through three Wars.
Before our trip back east Rob and I went on a bike ride with my family. We rode all the way from Vivians Park down Provo Canyon and to our house. It was a fun ride! We just buckled the dog into the kiddiekart and away we went. But I don’t think Teton (our dog) enjoyed it, he moaned and whined the whole way down.

Rob has been working for Hans doing tax and accounting work. I am still doing freelance landscape design work. I love it!
My sister Jeanie was up for a visit with her three cute kids. That was a blast to spend some quality time with her.
Rob, Jacob (my brother) and I went for a good little motorcycle ride a couple weeks ago.
We love our ward. Rob and I have held callings in Primary (CTR 5 and CTR 8). We loved both classes. Four wild boys in CTR 5 kept us on our toes, the goal was to survive. Keep them from crawling out the window during class or sword fighting, turning chairs upside down or even pulling their shirts up over their heads in Sharing time. Wow! It was a happ'n bunch! The CTR 8 class we had four of the sweetest girls that you could ask for and one boy. We actually had to plan a lesson. They were a wonderful class and we really enjoyed them.
Sleeping in and not having to cook has been great! Tonight got a bit stressful though when Mike our neighbors downstairs informed me that there was no hot water for his shower last night. Oh no! Rob's gone and I don't' know ANYTHING about a hot water heater. I really didn't have a clue as to what to do. But my mom came and saved the day. She can't to barrow a movie and I roped her into fixing my water heater. She went through the instructions with me and together we got pilot light started and the heater working again. That's all that was wrong with it! And again I survived yet another day without a husband! Who would have thought! My next challenge tomorrow will be figuring out how to turn on the lawn mower!
So I called up the number on our hot water heater and the receptionist informed me that there is an $88.00 service charge just to come out and look at it.
Rob is still gone. I really miss him.
