Stephan has an Audience

Isn't this cute? I can't help but think that Stephan was enjoying the attention of his triplet sisters. Stephen is the "big brother" now. He has three little triplet sisters constantly watching him. They love their big brother very much.

Triplets Blessing Day

Rob blessed Lexy Lily and Libety yesterday in church. He did a beautiful job and I felt the spirit so strong. I know what he said was inspired.

My Sons Birthday Party

We had a little birthday party for Stephan. He loved it and had so much fun!

Finding Nemo Cupcakes! For Stephan's second birthday party we invited a few of his friends and their parents to a little kid jungle thing. It was so fun! We brought balloons, I made Finding Nemo Cupcakes. It turned out great and the best part was there wasn't a ton of planning on my part.

Ron Paul Rally

Last night we attended a Ron Paul Rally. no unfortunately Ron Paul was not there but it was still excellent!!!

Its 5am! Party Time :)

Just finished feeding the girls and since I never get a chance to blog or facebook. Here I am! Today (well yesterday at this point I guess) I was able to attend Robs Sunday School class for the first time in months. He is such a good teacher! He makes the subjects come alive with a little humor as well. He is a great man and I'm so glad that I am married to him. I couldn't be happier. Where were the girls while I was attending class? Three wonderful people volunteered to hold them and I was able to run Stephan to the nursery and check up on him periodically. I love holding my girls so I did feel a little empty handed but it was a nice break. All three girls were very good for everyone they didn't cry or spit up on anyone. I made three pink matching dresses for them which they wore today and they all looked so cute.

Family Pictures 2011

Rob and i took the tripod packed up the family and ran off to take some family snap shots. We took probably at least 20 pictures 19 of which were of Stephans back side
:(. He seemed to think it was some sort of game where in he was to "hide" from the camera. Right about when the timer went off he would turn and crawl under either mine or Robs legs. After we finally got the one with him looking that was it it just had to work because the girls were starting to get fussy and Rob had had it with the whole experience. You know kids everywhere whining, crying not listening to you its enough to make anyone go crazy.

Our Little Angels are Home!

On October 29th our little triplets turned one and we were able to celebrate by bringing them home from the hospital. Stephan was able to finally meet his little sisters. He just seemed curious, he didn't seem jealous at all. We barrow my mother in laws van because we didn't have a vehicle large enough to carry all of their car seats. Three nurses were needed to carry out all three car seats. So I walked with all three nurses each carrying a car seat - I got some good long looks. We were quite the procession.

Newborn ICU

Having babies in the Newborn ICU or NICU is hard both emotionally and physically. But there is a special feeling there. There are so many tiny beautiful perfect little infants trying so hard to survive and grow that it can't help but be a special place.

My Little Killer Bunnie :)

Family Bike Ride

At the Park

Rob and I lived right across the street from an Elementary School and a childrens playground. Yesterday we took Stephan down some slides and spend time playing around in the playground.

New Camera

When I was 15 or 16 I bought my first SLR (film). It was a Fuji, and I loved it! I bought it second hand and it was completely manual (focal, aperture, and shutter speed). I studied and studied to figure out what all that was and how different settings worked together. Because I didn't have a lot of money I was limited in the number of "experimental" pictures that I could take with it. I had a good time figuring it all out. Then when digital cameras started to become popular in 2000 I really really wanted to get a digital camera. But the only ones that were anywhere near affordable were the point and shoot. The DSLR's (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras started at the $2000.00 to $5000.00 range, way out of my price range. But I did a lot of research and found one I loved that was also very versatile. It had what I felt were the options I needed and all adjustable settings (shutter speed, aperture, focus, 10X optical zoom and a macro setting for taking close up pictures). This is the is the camera that I have had and used for the last ten years. It was a Fuji Finepix S602. It has been a wonderful camera. Recently this wonderful camera has started slowing down. It uses a lot of batteries as well.
After a lot of reading a lot of reviews, talking to experts and researching I have bought the Nikon D3100. I've officially owned it a week. I really love it! The picture quality has blown me out of the water. And one of the things I'm most excited about is that I get 8 free photography classes to learn all sorts of tips and tricks.

I didn't know pens float vertical

But Stephan proved it when he dropped one in the toilet the other day. I barely took my eyes off him and he was down the hall and splish-splashing in the toilet (Oh goodness!). I immediately washed his hands real good! Scamp!

Ready...Set...February

Nope not ready for February. The temperatures will start warming up and then design season is in swing. I've really enjoyed a nice relaxing winter and I'm not sure I'm ready for spring.

My Handsome Little Man!

What a joy he is

A Tribute to the Provo Tabernacle

At 6:00am on Dec 17th Rob woke me up and said the tabernacle is on fire. I was shocked I thought he was joking but by the look in his eye I could tell he was not joking. I walked into the living room to see the breaking news on TV and the video of flames shooting out of the beloved tabernacle. Rob and I have wonderful memories in the old Provo tabernacle. First it has acted as our “stake center” for our first 3 ½ years of marriage. We have a stake center that is much closer but we have never used it for stake conference. We have instead always gone to the tabernacle, which has been something I have always looked forward to. In fact it was the first place that Stephan went to attend stake conference at as well. At the last conference we had in Sept or Oct Rob and I walked to it from our house. It was a beautiful day for a walk. At stake conference our preferred seating was always up on the balcony. The wood benches got a little uncomfortable after not too long and the building didn’t have AC so it was always very warm, but I still looked forward to going there. It was so sad to see it burn. Around 10am I drove by with my mom to see. Here are some of the pictures I took.

Stephan is mobile!

Stephan is mobile! I was warned this would happen, but I had no idea just what it would be like. He especially likes opening cupboards and closets and emptying them. I have to refill Tetons (dogs) water a lot more. Stephan likes to dump it all over the kitchen flour and then cries for me to rescue him when the cold water soaks through his clothes and he dosen't seem to know how to crawl out of it. Just after getting him washed and changed into clean dry clothes he heads almost straight back to the recently refilled dog bowl:(. Our poor bird experiences an "earthquake" everyday now. Stephan likes to stand up and shake the stand and cages that the bird is in. Grinning from ear to ear as he does. The bird is hilarious he know sleeps with one eye closed and the other eye opened and focused on Stephan (silly bird!).
